Nisha Chittal is a digital strategist and writer living in Washington, DC. She is currently the head of social media for the Travel Channel, where she oversees social media strategy, campaign development, and execution. Previously, she worked at New Media Strategies, where she consulted on social and digital media strategy for clients such as Honda, Kraft Foods, Telemundo, and Golf Channel. Nisha is also a freelance writer, particularly on the topics of media, politics, and technology. She has contributed to The American Prospect, Jezebel, Mediaite, Poynter, and Ms. Magazine.
