Priya Bery

As Director of Public Affairs & Partnerships, Priya and her team drive Richard's advocacy agenda around all that's unacceptable in the world, and they catalyze partnerships to support Virgin Unite's global leadership models. They have also built a global community of awe-inspiring entrepreneurs, influencers and philanthropists that are driving positive change with Virgin Unite.

There's nothing more satisfying to her than blurring the boundaries and merging the sectors to make the unthinkable happen and she loves it when business innovates to be a force for good. She's been super lucky over the past 15 years, having had the chance to start-up the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS with Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke, learn from frontline leaders across Africa and Asia on various grassroots and diplomatic initiatives, and serve her home state while working for U.S. Senator Carl Levin during the Clinton Administration.

Priya is a new mom living in Brooklyn and has a B.S. from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Policy and Management from Harvard's School of Public Health. She's about to embark on a new journey and will be joining the team at TOMS to help drive their global giving strategy – for her shoes are an entry point to innovative community development and she's excited to build some incredible partnerships with all of you in this exciting new role.
